It’s 2025!

Here’s hoping for a Happy New Year for everyone!

2024 was a very busy year for me. I started a Master in Curatorial and Museum Studies to learn more about the GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums) sector; I continued my arts practice and participated in a number of group exhibitions and I took on extra volunteer duties at the primary gallery I’m involved with, including roster coordinator and social media manager.

I also began to imagine some new concepts that I want to start developing in 2025.

While many of these ideas exist within my existing media of photography and jewellery, I’m intending to start playing around with small sculptures in 2025. I am also planning to extend my practice to incorporate both timber and kiln-formed glass.

Outside of my arts practice, I want to develop a habit of baking, be more active and immerse myself in more creative media. I love reading but have dropped off in my reading habits so that’s something to focus on; in addition I want to dedicate myself to some weekly gaming time. My current game of choice is Fallout 76, however I have a few others that I like to play from time to time.
